Quite displeased with their customer service. Placed a call to see if they do repairs on dryers. The girl said I would have to pay $79 to ask a technician that question as they would have to come to my house first. When I told her I simply need to find out IF they repair dryers she abruptly hung up on me. That is one company I would never again call.

Although I have spent over $25000 on carpeting drywall lumber appliances doors landscaping materials lawn treatments at Lowe's while remodeling my home last year the store refused to refund my money on a shade I purchased on clearance. I was told when I purchased it that I could return it if it did not fit. The brackets did not fit into the shade and it is useless. With this attitude they will no longer get my business. Hello Home Depot!

Pretty fair prices coupled with decent warranties and the non-big-box-store customer service I think all came together for me here. I have bought appliances twice from these guys and remain satisfied with my first decision to stop and give this place a shot :)

HOME DEPOT COMPLAINT-I don???t mean to complain I???ve never went onto a site and done this before but I???m hoping someone in cyberspace sees my dilemma. I purchased a Martin garage door through Home Depot fall 0f 2011. I purchased my home 14 months prior to garage door installation and was told that the genie garage opener was 5 years old and would be suffiencnt. Around a month after installation I pulled into the garage and shut the garage door and it came down on my bike rack. I had to physically-with the help of my neighbor push the garage door off my bike rack. The sensor to the garage door failed to sense the obstruction. What if this would have been a CHILD. This could have killed them or a dog. Meanwhile my door is unusable. I am not able to pull my car in/out without manually lifting the garage door. I simply need a new door as the center style is completely broken away and I have to lock it with screw drivers in the holes on the side. I told Home Depot this and they sent out both the Genie assessor and Martin Door assessor. The genie guy said it was simple. When the subcontractors that Martin Door used they neglected to reset the genie opener. He stated the ???OPS down force was set too HIGH??? he then adjusted them to their proper setting. Then all the other assessors that came out such as Martin Door and On-Trac said that everything they did was fine- because the settings were fine thanks to the genie guy that made a simple adjustment. (If I had an alternator installed in my car-I???d expect the mechanic to make the proper adjustment) These installers are the professionals that Home Depot uses-I expect that they know to make an adjustment on the genie opener and not expect that of the homeowner-that is Ridiculous. Needless to say I???ve been playing phone tag with Home Depot Headquarters Jerome because at this point they wanted to see if this qualified as an insurance claim. I was denied stating that I should have bought a new genie opener. Home Depot is just covering their butt they do not want to take responsibility for the workmanship of this product that they sell. I have a one year warranty on this door-BUT Home apparently is NOT taking any responsibility for the workmanship. I did not know they were separate when I contracted with them. They are not honoring their contract and meanwhile I am out $800+tax and stuck with a nonfunctioning garage door
